Evangelism
Evangelism is one of the major components of our “R4 Vision which is to reach out to the lost. The Lord commands believers to preach the good news to the lost. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matt 28:19). Therefore, we focus on surrounding neighborhoods.
Intercessory Prayer Team
This ministry is dedicated to the continual prayers of intercession offered on behalf of all people (I Tim 2:1). We are committed to bringing the needs of the church before God. We have the strong confidence that because God is faithful every need will be met according to his will (I Jhn 5:14). Our focus is to continue to pray so that God will continue to empower the church to continue to grow to fulfill the R4 vision which is fulfilled when God’s people are released into God’s unique call for their lives and continue to be fruitful in it.
Praise Team
The scripture declares that “Praise God him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD!” (Psalm 150:4). As a ministry, we are dedicated to constantly lead the congregation into the manifest presence of God through skillful, inspirational, demonstrative worship (Psalm 100:4). For us music is not simply a performance, rather it is an act of worship where we surrender our hearts and lives for his glory (Rom 12:1).
Christian Education
The scripture declares that “The things [the doctrine, the precepts, the admonitions, the sum of my ministry] which you have heard me teach in the presence of many witnesses, entrust [as a treasure] to reliable and faithful men who will also be capable and qualified to teach others” (II Tim 2: 2). This scripture ties well with Our R4 vision which showcases our dedication to raise Christ’s disciples, Spirit Empowered leaders, and release empowered leaders into ministry according to God’s unique pattern for their lives. This is the discipleship arm of the church that is carefully designed to empower believers to grow in their work with Christ to become strong leaders and that will be eventually released into their unique area of God’s calling for their lives
Multimedia
We are a specialized team that provides technical support for the audio/visual systems of the church. Much more than providing technical support for the church we are an integral part of the church support communication which is a major aspect of worship during all services.
Ushering
The scripture directs that “But all things must be done appropriately and in an orderly manner” (I Cor 14:40). Considering this scriptural command, the ushering ministry exists to main the appropriate order. It is our delight to ensure that you have a focused time of worship during all our services. We exist to sure you the love of Christ as the first face of the ministry that you meet upon arrival. We also provide the necessary guidance and information to make your visit a memorable one.
Children
Our children’s ministry is not a place to engage kids to prevent disruption in adult serve. We passionately believe that children are God’s heritage and a special gift to fulfill his highest purposes here on earth (Psalm 127:3-4). Therefore, it is imperative to provide a strong biblical foundation for their development in a fun-filled and creative atmosphere of Christian discipleship. This early childhood exposition to the rich treasures of the kingdom can enable them to have faith in Christ, hence a personal relationship with God which will provide godly wisdom that is applicable in other areas of life. This aligns well with our R4 vision to raise disciple, leaders, and release them into God’s unique purpose for their lives.
Social Media
We are a specialized team responsible for virtual communication of the message of the gospel. So, you do not have a church home, or you were unable to attend church last Sunday. Then connect with us via our various social media platform and the same presence of God that ministered to those who were present will reach you too!
Transportation
We are a care-based ministry. Are you interested in attending church this Sunday, but you need a ride? Please call us at 301-262-2500 and leave a message. A caring representative of the ministry will return your call and make transportation arrange
Youth
We have a youth ministry that is more than a social club, rather a spiritual academy that is designed to nurture God’s divine purpose in their hearts (Ecc 3:11). This includes assisting them to know the Lord, discover who they are in him which is revealed in their unique gifting and callings. We are dedicated to empowering the youth by showing them how to fan into flame the gifts of God in their lives for the purpose of fulfilling their prophetic destiny (I Tim 1:6). This aligns well with our R4 vision to raise disciples, leaders, and release them into God’s unique pattern for their lives.
Altar Workers
We provide logistical support during the administration of the Holy Communion table, prayer times, and other times of ministrations. As the scripture advocates for order during services, we facilitate that process especially at the altar (I Cor 14:40).
Men of Faith
Are you a man? Do you feel weighed down by various challenges of life to the point of despair? Would like to be around men who really understand your unique challenges? Then this group will be a great fit for you. This is a place where God is constantly transforming people to be like David as God said about him “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart [conforming to my will’] (Act 13:22). Join us as we collectively walk together and grow to be a man after God’s heart. It does take a man that seeks after God’s heart to full God’s will. This is the crown jewel of our vision, fulfilling God’s will by aligning ourselves with his unique call for our lives.
Dynamic Adult
Are you within the age of 18-35? Happens life does not seem to have meaning or you are lonely. Then our dynamic ministry is the right place for you. We are more than a social, club rather we are a body of believers that are dedicated to assisting one another to be established in the faith. This requires learning how to avoid the numerous contemporary distractions that quench the flames of our convictions of faith (I Jhn 2:15). We develop young men and women to embrace who they are in Christ, harness their God-given potential, and slay the contemporary goliaths of our day! This aligns well with our vision to raise and release leaders into unique areas of God’s calling for their lives.
Home Group
The bible states, “Day after day they met in the temple [area continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various home...” Beyond having formal church services, we also have home fellowships. This is an avenue for relational fellowship which allows you to love and be loved! The next time you are in service please ask for the closest home fellowship to your residence. It will make a world of difference in your walk with the lord.
Women of Destiny
Are you lonely? Isolated? Overwhelmed with the everyday demands of family life? we at the Women of Destiny can relate with your experience! We exist to provide a support group where women can connect with other women in a nonjudgmental way and learn to serve their families with renewed strength. Additional fulfil1 God unique call in various spheres of life (Prov 31:31).
Finance
We are a dedicated team of people that are focused on providing essential accounting operations in support of the church’s R4 vision. While our skill-set is highly significant but a heart filled with God’s love which equips us to serve him and his people with integrity.
